Paula Rivera Rocha is a fitness coach with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University. With an athletic foundation from an early age, she is passionate about helping others through exercise.

Her background in competitive road cycling, swimming, dance, and Olympic weightlifting has given her a diverse set of knowledge in development as an athlete. Paula competed in road cycling for four years, which sparked her interest in competing. During this time, she developed an injury that led her to physical therapy. Seeing the different ways in which strengthening could help heal the body led her to become more interested in lifting and competing in Olympic weightlifting.

In college, she worked at a physical therapy clinic, which emphasized the belief that movement is medicine. She enjoyed seeing people in different stages of life become both physically and mentally stronger during their treatment, which has influenced her philosophy that it’s never too late to start.

From individual coaching to group classes, Paula creates an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and motivated. With her experience, she is keen on ensuring proper technique to prevent injuries and optimize results. She truly cares about those she coaches and is passionate about setting them up for long-term success.

Apart from lifting, Paula enjoys walking her cat, crafting, and going to concerts. Her music taste includes Cage the Elephant, Bad Bunny, Pierce the Veil, and many others.
